Laptop Cover Signs are applied to the top of every Circulation Laptop to overtly display the item name and the In Library Use Only policy for patrons. Needed: 1 Full Sheet Adhesive Label; 1 Self-Adhesive Laminating Sheet. Below are instructions on making and applying a sign.

  1. Locate and open the 'Laptop Cover Sign' work document
  2. Change the laptop number to the unit you are labeling
  3. Print out the page in color on a Full Sheet Letter Sized Adhesive Label page
  4. Trim 1/2 inch off of each side of the sign
  5. Trim 1 inch off the bottom and 1 inch off a side of the Self-Adhesive Laminating Sheet
  6. Apply the Sign to the top of the Laptop, smartly centered & firmly smoothed
  7. Apply the Laminating Sheet over the Sign, smartly centered on the Sign & firmly smoothed
  8. Check in laptop and return to cabinet
