How can distance learning students request a book that Pepperdine owns?

Answer

As a distance learner, you can request books owned by the Pepperdine Libraries through Interlibrary Loan.   In order to request a book owned by Pepperdine Libraries, please request all items using the Pepperdine Interlibrary Loan Service "Requests" tab in your Pepperdine Interlibrary Loan Library Account and click on "Create Request". When filling out the request form be sure to choose "Pepperdine University Distance Education" in the "Pickup Location" field and provide your current mailing address.  More information about the Pepperdine Libraries support for Distance Learning students is available here: https://library.pepperdine.edu/students/distance.htm

Please note: A distance learner is defined as a currently registered student either enrolled in one of the programs identified as distance programs or lacking reasonably convenient access to a Pepperdine campus.  A student who attends weekly class sessions at a Pepperdine campus is not considered a distance learner.
