How can I get a book or article that is not in the library?

If you cannot find the article or book you need in the Pepperdine Libraries’ catalog, you can request it via our Interlibrary Loan service. You will need to fill out the request form on the Interlibrary Loan website

Please be advised, Pepperdine Libraries cannot request Harvard Business School Cases or Industry Reports via Interlibrary Loan. For more information on HBS Cases, please refer to this FAQ. If you are looking for a particular industry report, please contact your subject liaison librarian as they may be able to assist you in finding a comparable report within a Pepperdine Libraries databases.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is available to authorized faculty, staff and students of Pepperdine University only. The Pepperdine Interlibrary Loan service is not available to alumni, Friends of the Library, Crest Club members, or the general public. All other patrons should use the Interlibrary Loan services at their local public libraries. Pepperdine University Law School students, faculty and staff should submit their Interlibrary Loan requests to the Law School Library Interlibrary Loan website.
