For the full list of Pepperdine resources available to alumni, please see the Alumni Services guide.

After graduating your network login will expire. Some databases will be available to alumni remotely. Pepperdine alumni may search most library databases when they visit any of the Pepperdine Libraries after presenting a valid alumni ID card and a picture ID.  For help with your alumni ID card, please contact the Alumni Affairs office, 310-506-6190.

Currently we are unable to provide alumni with on and/or off campus access to the following databases, Please note that these restrictions are dictated by the vendors.

  • Mintel
  • Passport (formerly Global Market Information Database)
  • SciFinder
  • Bloomberg terminals
  • Refinitiv
  • ProQuest e-books

Pepperdine alumni may borrow up to five books at any one time for a two week period. Books are renewable for an additional two weeks. We are happy to transfer/ deliver books from one Peppedine campus to another for Alumni.  However, library staff or librarians must place this request for you.  Please use the Ask A Librarian form  (https://pepperdine.libanswers.com/), or contact one of the Pepperdine libraries directly.

Please note: to be classified as alumni, a student must receive a degree from Pepperdine. Someone who leaves the University before completing their degree does not qualify for Library alumni privileges .
