You can save articles for later review in any of the EBSCOhost databases (Academic Search Complete, Business Source Complete, etc.). You will need to create an account within the EBSCO platform to do so; this account is separate from your WaveNet credentials.

If you save items to a folder without signing into your EBSCO account, these items will be lost when your session ends

To create an EBSCO account:

  1. Launch one of the EBSCOhost databases and enter your WaveNet credentials if prompted
  2. Once you are in the database, click on Sign In on the top menu in the upper right corner of the screen
  3. On the next page, click on Create one now below the teal Sign In button
  4. Fill out the form, selecting a unique username and password, and click Continue
  5. Your account is now created

To save articles for later within an EBSCOhost database:

  1. Launch the database and enter your WaveNet credentials if prompted
  2. Once you are in the database, click on Sign In on the top menu in the upper right corner of the screen
  3. On the next page, enter your EBSCO username and password and click Sign In
  4. You are now logged in and can enter your search terms and run your search. You can tell if you are logged into your EBSCO account because above the EBSCO icon next to the search boxes, you will see the word MY
  5. Once you have run your search, you can save articles by clicking on the blue folder icon next to the article title in the main results page. You can tell if an item is saved because the folder icon will change to yellow.
  6. You can also save an article by clicking on the title and selecting Add to folder in the right-hand side menus under Tools

To access the articles you have saved, click on Folder in the top menu. For more information on EBSCO folders, please click on this link.
